ABOUT MARGIE
Margie Shepherd is a Portland, Oregon based creative, brand strategist, and designer with a passion for all things print, packaging, branding, email strategy + design, typography, and web wizardry.
In 2018, she graduated from Western Oregon University with a design degree and big dreams. Shortly thereafter, she ventured into the cannabis space as a packaging designer, bringing her playful visual style to the industry. She’s since teamed up with small but mighty brands like Smokiez, Barbari Herbals, and Spinello. Today, you can spot her work in boutiques and dispensaries across the world.
Navigating the wild-west-like landscape of the cannabis world, Margaret has adeptly merged her resourceful spirit with her eye for design to assist clients at various stages of business, from concept to execution.

PHILOSOPHY
To Margie, design is an invitation to leave a smaller footprint while creating a lasting impact. It’s about reshaping not only objects but the very way we engage with them, considering how they will be experienced now and treasured long after. She believes each piece is part of an evolving archive of responsible creativity—testaments to our shared responsibility to design with the planet in mind.

“As a teen, I’d pore over magazines and Shel Silverstein books, captivated by the bold visuals and quirky illustrations. Now, that same passion fuels my work in graphic design and illustration, letting me create pieces that echo those early inspirations and bring fresh ideas to life.”
